If you need help
If you are worried about your symptoms of fatigue, or need help from someone, please contact your general practitioner or family doctor.
The fatigue research study is not a crisis or counselling service.

Personal stories, when shared, help us to better understand what's happening to us and to learn strategies to better control fatigue. This page is for people who feel they are managing their fatigue well or have recovered.

To help us compare stories it would be useful if you included the following things in your story:
  • What condition / illness do you have?
  • How long have you had this condition?
  • When did your symptoms of fatigue first start?
  • How do, or did, you manage your symptoms of fatigue?
  • What led to your recovery from fatigue?
  • What are your future expectations (will your fatigue stay the same, get better, or worse?)
Submitted stories will remain confidential and will not be viewable on the website, they will be securely stored and deleted after 5 years. Your email address cannot be traced, the form is submitted anonymously. A summary of results will be posted to this website upon conclusion of the study in October 2007. If you have any questions please contact fatigue.csmhs@otago.ac.nz
